It's finished!!! Almost.....

Jarred, James and Fresh Ben celebrated their last day at Glebe House spreading concrete in the rain, and as always they did a first class job.
So we have now have a week of 'rest' until the SIP starts on 2nd July. This should be fun!

The Dogs Blocks!!

Feel a bit of a cheat posting these as the 'latest' pictures. They were taken last week but we have only just got round to downloading them from the camera.

Anyway 'blocks away' and we are out and up! Foundation block work completed and ready for concrete slabs next week. The concrete for the retaining wall has also been poured so we are getting a good idea of the size of the finished build and outside space, and it is looking good!!

The only way is up!!

It always seemed funny that you pay people to dig big holes in your garden and then pay them to fill them up again.....

Anyway we are out of the ground! A landmark in any build and very exciting to see, or to get an idea, of the size and shape of the new bits. Jarred and the guys have yet again done a fantastic job and seem to be flying. Personally I think Rosie is putting something in their ginger beer!

Here are a couple of pictures showing empty footings and full footings. Try and contain yourselves.

Superstar!!!

Is this my room??

Notice the lack of a hedge between the garden and the paddock? A little drastic but the only way to get rid of Russian Vine (and make room for a retaining wall!).

On a clear day we can see all the way to York Minster.
